About
We are an ethical, thought provoking apparel line using eco-conscious, sustainable and fair trade threads.
We are based out of Kumkumalay (Vancouver) Canada on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
We are proud to be affiliated in co-op with the Indigenous owned and operated apparel line Love the Land. As a settler company we commit to respecting the land, culture and peoples and make it our mission to educate ourselves and inspire others through our content, apparel and the garments we source.

OUR GARMENTS
We use Bella+Canvas for our apparel lines. They are Platinum W.R.A.P certified, manufacturing in the U.S. and internationally in a no-sweat-shop, humane and sustainable way. They are a Participating Company of the Fair Labor Association and have committed to upholding the FLA Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout their entire supply chain.
Bella+Canvas use 7x less water than average clothing manufacturers, saving 24 million gallons a week. Any water not used goes through a filtration system that allows it to be recycled. Their manufacturing facilities and LA Headquarters produce almost no landfill as they recycle mostly everything that can't be turned into a tee. They have optimized cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs and stuffing for upholstery.
Dyes can have harmful chemicals that are bad for your skin and the environment. Bella+Canvas practice eco-friendly dyeing and are Blue Sign System Certified. Blue Sign is a company that certifies companies all over the world to use the most eco and environmental friendly products on the market. It’s a system for a sustainable textile production that eliminates harmful substances from the beginning of the manufacturing process. It sets and controls standards for an environmentally friendly and safe production.
